Sundance (2008): Dining - Sushi Maru

A little Japanese restaurant far from the maddening crowd.  Rather than dealing with the insanity of Main Street (where all the food is american/diner/bar&grill style anyways), park or ride the shuttle to the Albertsons and head back and to the left to the hidden strip mall area.  Relatively empty even during Sundance, and the food was actually quite good and authentic.  Except for the veggie curry, which tasted too much of ginger and contained cabbage (!!!), the lunch combo menu was both extraordinarily cheap and filling.  In particular, the salad and the tempura were great.  Part of the whole Sundance experience is mixing it up on Main, and that seems to include a requisite hour long wait for a table, which can be fun in the beginning.  But if your enegry starts to wane, make it over to Sushi Maru.
